A clinical trial is on-going to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Focused Ultrasound for the enhancement of fertility in women with uterine fibroids, specifically those that have been diagnosed with unexplained infertility.
For more information on this trial and sites that are recruiting patients for participation in the trail, please see the information posted on ClinicalTrials.gov.

I just read the complete article on the focused ultrasound clinical trial, I am so disappointed because even though I need these fibroids gone badly, I would like to try to have at least 1 or 2 kids, and with all of the trials being in other cities, with me having no money, I guess I am out of luck, well, thank you for the article, my hopes were up for a minute, that I might go back to having a normal life, I feel like that women last year who shot herself in the shoulder to get some medical attention, I feel like taking some scissors and doing the surgery myself, but I am not that crazy, I am going to leave it up to God, if I die from bleeding too much, it was meant to be.
Kim, we are very sorry to hear about your struggles with fibroids. Please know that you are not alone. There are thousands of women dealing with this every day. There are lots of options other than focused ultrasound. Please look at this treatment chart.
