Women Defined ~~ In Lune Form

Posted in Guest Blog Posts

Women are by no means the weaker sex. FibroidRelief has afforded me the privilege of speaking with many many women, all of whom have such  incredible presence of mind, strength, determination and  inspirational qualities ~~ I have dedicated this blog (today) as an homage  to all  those fabulous fine-femmes! The following musings have been written in LUNE form. Developed by Robert Kelly in the 60′s, LUNE poetry resembles a crescent moon with its 3-lined, 5/3/5 syllabic-line pattern. LUNES are informative and sensual and…well… see for yourself!

The sixties was born
Freedom eyed
Sisters we became

Women as mothers
Nurturing
In the home. Out, too!

Metrocracy now!
Fix all ills
How? Metrocracy

Usual business
Body blow
Hysterectomy

Preserve their wholeness
Treatment choice
Ablation…happy!

Gardening teachings
Mother Earth
Gives back a zillion!

Her strength is mighty
Not muscles
Loving to protect

Focused ultrasound
Blast away
Fibroid relief…ahh

Woman health in angst
Determined
To help other gals

She has many tales
Yet untold
Listen, carefully

Galvanized forum
Female talk
Strong souls unified

Juggling ten tasks
Not easy!?
Women know how to!

Inspired by many
Forever
In gratitude’s state

Women’s suffrage
Yes we can
Voting! Ever proud

Love love love women
ALL ways will
Can do! Attitude

“She who must be ‘beyed”
Rumpole said
What a smart man — he!

Black cloth prison suit
The burkha
Behind curtain…love

Belle, dame, lady, miss
Conjures up
Eye of the tiger

Becoming full YOU
Thanks deserved
Loving kind husband

Please please please! feel free to post your own LUNE homage to those wonderful women that soooo inspire you!
