FACT 1: There is a pronounced racial disparity in infant mortality occurring in the United States of America. African-American babies die more than twice as often as white babies. Preterm births, it appears, is the cause of this large divergence in the death-rate between black and white babies. Researchers believe that the mother’s inflammatory response could be on over-drive — by disease (no pre-natal care, resulting in poor health), physical stress (working long hours in physically demanding jobs) and social stress (often non-married, low education). All of these factors cause an inflammatory response, thus resulting in preterm deliveries (either dying or needing an enormous amount of medical life-long care). In this country, being black ( whether poor or wealthy, according to statistics) is stress-inducing…now it is measurable by  numbers.

FACT 2: Fibroids, although a benign condition, are most often the cause of a hysterectomy. Hysterectomies are more often performed on African-American women. African-American women have the highest percentage of  uterine fibroids, when compared to the white population. Poor nutrition combined with stress-induced inflammation (for a variety of “social” reasons) can cause a weakened immune system, resulting in fibroids.

FACT 3: “Every single one of you has something you’re good at. Every single one of you has something to offer. And you have a responsibility, to yourself, to discover what it is!” These are the words of  encouragement, to be  delivered to all school children, by President Obama. You read the words, is there a scintilla of anything negative that could possibly be offensive? And yet the nay-sayers and hate-mongers are out in full force trying desperately to knock this president down at every turn. They actually said that they “want him to fail!”  If he fails, we ALL go down with the ship. These actions have blinded “their” ability to see clearly and shall be the cause of their/our/the countries own demise.
The straight-forward facts have been cited, so now I  ask you…”coincidence??…i think, not!!” All 3 of the previously layed-out facts have a causational relationship that,  frankly, I am both angry and horrified by…prejudice. This country, to this day, still has a large and pervasive populace that is prejudice against people with a darker skinshade , forsooth!!! Racial prejudice, forsooth!!!
It makes me livid to know that  this bias is still so deeply ensconced in the body and the heart of the American people. I see it with my own eyes and hear it with my own ears, while hateful souls fillets this president on every single decision no matter what IT is! It’s ignorant, fool-hardy, racial-hate…prejudice! I see it with the health statistics that compare blacks and whites. Cause? Deep-seeded disgusting ,  racial-hate…prejudice!
We are all people. We are all people. We are all people! Yes, it bares repeating, because gosh-darn-it, if we continue to be a country filled with so much pure vilainous-vile towards another because of skin color, why, we will implode!! We simply will  not have our country healed when such hate for the “man-in-charge” exists, not for his policy-making, but because of  his skin color. Please! please! Are we just soooo stupid? Are we? I sincerely, with all of my heart and soul, hope not! Because… HATE IS STUPID…and will most assuredly be our undoing!!
