What about the people that don’t have health insurance and can’t get the help for fibroids?

  4. admin says:

    Hi Joan,

There are a few options for those women who do not have health insurance and want help for their fibroids. The first place I would suggest you look is under our clinical trials page. If you are able to enroll in a clinical trial, then you may be able to get treatment at a reduced rate. (http://fibroidrelief.org/resources/participate-in-a-clinical-trial/)

Another option is to call the location that you would like to get treatment at and see what they recommend to you. You would be surprised as to how helpful they can be! You never know what options hospitals might have available to those who are unable to meet the costs of certain procedures.

Lastly, I have heard of something called Care Credit. I know of one woman who used it to pay for her treatment, and was then able to pay back the treatment over time at a rate that worked for her.

Please let us know if we can answer any other questions.

    Best,

    Jade
