Fibroid Relief is excited to provide uterine fibroid patients with an Insurance Reimbursement Toolkit.   The toolkit was developed to help uterine fibroid patients understand and navigate through the health insurance process to secure coverage for focused ultrasound, a non-invasive treatment approved by the FDA in 2004. The information featured in the tool kit, such as sample letter templates and helpful tips on appealing a denial, may also be beneficial for patients dealing with insurance coverage issues for other uterine fibroid treatment options.

Registration is required to download the toolkit.  As part of Fibroid Relief patient outreach efforts, a member of the Fibroid Relief team will follow up with each patient to determine if the information has been beneficial in their efforts to secure coverage for the treatment.
