Another non-invasive treatment option for uterine fibroids has recently been approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration.

Acessa is a system developed by Halt Medical that uses radio-frequency ablation to treat uterine fibroids.

The procedure is currently being done by these four physicians:

Scott Chudnoff, MD, MS, Montefiore Medical Center

Richard Guido, MD, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center

It’s great to have another non-invasive treatment option. The more options for women, the better!
