There are additional studies being done around the world focusing on other treatment options for uterine fibroids.
In Mexico, the UK, and the Netherlands, there is a Symptom Effectiveness Study of VizAblateTM Intrauterine Ultrasound-Guided RF Ablation.
Researchers in the Netherlands are evaluating the technical success, safety and procedure feasibility of hysteroscopic cryoablation treatment in women who do not desire further pregnancies.
In Taipai, Taiwan, researchers are holding a study on laparoscopic myomectomies.
In Ramat Gan and Hasaron, Israel, a study is being done to evaluate the effect of a daily dosage of vaginally administered mifepristone on reduction of uterine fibroid size and symptoms.
